Dosimeters

Larson Davis produces a family of Personal Noise Dosimeters that provide ease-of-use, compact size and ergonomic design for compliance worldwide noise exposure regulations. They can be supplied with analysis and reporting software and are an important part of any effective Hearing Conservation Program. Government legislated noise exposure standards require that various exposure metrics are reported, and these can vary by jurisdiction. With user selectable Exchange Rate; Threshold; Criterion Level and Criterion Time the Spark® series of dosimeter ensure you can meet any local requirement for worker exposure reporting compliance.

Calibrators

The essential function to ensure that your Sound Level Meters and Dosimeters are producing accurate and repeatable results is a Larson Davis Sound Calibrator. A specific Sound Calibrator is designed to generate standardized Sound Pressure Levels at specific frequencies when coupled with intended microphone models. The two principal functions of Sound Calibrators are therefore:
  • To determine the Elecro-Acoustical sensitivity (transducer performance) of specified microphones
  • To test and calibrate (by adjustment) the overall sensitivity of acoustical measuring systems
